🇺🇸🇻🇪 CONGRESS TURNS ON TRUMP OVER SECRET VENEZUELA STRIKES: “SHOW US THE EVIDENCE”
Capitol Hill is losing patience – not over the bombs, but over the silence.
Lawmakers from both parties say the Trump administration is stonewalling Congress on its Caribbean strikes against alleged Venezuelan drug boats, refusing to share basic intelligence, legal justifications, or even unedited video of the attacks.
Since September, the U.S. has carried out at least five deadly strikes, killing 27 people, claiming they were traffickers tied to Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua gang.
But so far, no proof. Not of the targets, not of the drugs – just grainy clips on Trump’s social media and a rising death toll.
Even Republicans are uneasy. Rand Paul blasted the White House for waging a secret war “without names, without evidence.”
Todd Young warned of “constitutional drift.” And Democrats are furious at what they call a “shadow conflict” run under a classified list of ‘terrorist’ cartels the Pentagon won’t name.
Meanwhile, Colombia’s president claims one “Venezuelan” boat hit was actually Colombian – and full of civilians.
If true, America’s war on drugs may have just turned into a war of deniability.
