The love is MASSIVE – Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce win over another star fan in Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.. And The Rock Gave a Bada
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have a new fan in Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, with the WWE and Hollywood star speaking out on the love story ahead of the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The couple’s romance has become a pillar of the NFL season and has one final round of extended excitement before Sunday’s game, where Kelce’s Chiefs meet the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium.
‘I love it. I don’t have a problem with it, I feel like it’s all part of the game and it’s all the game that we play,’ Johnson told CNN’s Coy Wire, a former player for the Buffalo Bills.
Guy starts dating a girl who happens to be the biggest star in the world and he’s a bada** on the field.
‘He’s a bad dude in the game and it’s part of a story, but at the end of the day – and I shared this with a few people I’ve talked to privately – is just all that goes away.
‘You [Wire] played the game, so you know at this level, all that stuff goes away. You have to strip it all away and you have one intention and one focus and that’s just to ball
out and play the game.
That’s the beauty of it. Like you got all the bells and the whistles and the cache and the pomp and circumstance and all this awesome hype that happens surrounding this Super Bowl
This is a big one this year. It’s a big one, man, with a lot on the line and legacy on the line
The romance has seen Kelce’s fame spiral to another level and his managers, in an interview with The New York Times, said earlier this year that he wants to be more famous than the WWE star.
On Thursday, Kelce even admitted that he will have conversations with Hollywood executives once the football season is over and in the same Times piece from January, his managers said film scripts had been discussed.
Kelce and the Chiefs are looking to clinch back-to-back Super Bowl victories while the 49ers can equal the record number of Super Bowl wins at six, alongside the Steelers and New England Patriots.
The 34-year-old Kelce has fielded questions all week with good grace about Swift but now has no further media obligations before Sunday’s game.
Swift is expected to make the game but is three nights into her four Eras Tour shows in Tokyo, Japan.
The 17-hour time difference works in her favor in terms of getting back to the United States, but if she makes it and the Chiefs win, she won’t have too much time to celebrate.
The Eras Tour resumes next weekend in Australia, starting in Melbourne before heading on to Sydney.
