🇺🇸 LEFT-WING VIOLENCE RISES AS TRUMP’S SECOND TERM DEEPENS DIVIDES
10 months into Trump’s return to the White House, political tensions are erupting into bloodshed – and, increasingly, from the left.
Outlets report a growing pattern of politically motivated attacks and threats against conservatives and government targets, as Democrats struggle to define their identity after losing both the White House and Congress in 2024.
The most shocking moment came with the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
The 31-year-old (he would have turned 32 today) was gunned down mid-speech at a Turning Point USA event in Utah.
Police arrested Tyler Robinson, who allegedly told his partner afterward, “Some hate can’t be negotiated out.”
Kirk’s murder – and the wave of online mockery that followed – became a flashpoint for calls to curb extremist rhetoric. Lawmakers warned that “violent words precede violent actions.”
The report lists other incidents that have deepened unease:
– A Virginia Democratic candidate, Jay Jones, caught sending texts joking about shooting a Republican rival.
– A Dallas gunman who attacked an ICE facility, killing an agent.
– Online praise for leftist killer Luigi Mangione, accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare’s CEO.
– Campus flyers celebrating Kirk’s death under the banner of the “John Brown Gun Club.”
– And a wave of Tesla vandalism tied to anti-Elon protests.
Even some Democrats – including Sen. John Fetterman – are urging their party to “say enough” to escalating political hate.
The assassinations and threats have revived debate over the dangers of ideological radicalization – and whether America’s political fever has entered a new, more violent phase.
