Trump admits he asked for Putin’s missile permission amid WW3 fears – his answer was worrying…SEE DETAILS

Donald Trump has admitted that he asked Russian President Vladimir Putin if he would mind if he sent some Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

Of course, that wouldn’t be top of Putin’s wish list, and his answer could have some significant real world consequences.

In typical Trump fashion, he made a joke of it during a press conference.

The war between Russia and Ukraine continues to rage on, with Putin’s army raining down drone strikes.

Because of that, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly asked the United States and other countries to help out by providing more powerful weapons to help their cause.

That could mean Tomahawk missiles, which are capable of longer ranges and precision strikes, meaning that Ukraine would have the power to hit deep into Russia.

Zelensky has looked to Donald Trump to help with that goal, and Trump has repeatedly mentioned that he just might be willing to help.

Trump explained how Putin reacted in a recent press conference
Obviously, the last thing that Trump, Putin, or the world needs is for the USA to get involved in the war between Russia and Ukraine at a military level, so Trump suggesting that he might send long range missiles to Zelensky is a big deal.

As he likes to do, Trump addressed the suggestion in a press conference.

He said: “I did actually say ‘would you mind if I gave a couple of thousand Tomahawks to your opposition?’

“I did say that to him, I said it just that way.

“He didn’t like the idea…”

“He really didn’t like the idea.”

Trump continued: “You have to be a little bit light-hearted sometimes, but no, he doesn’t want Tomahawks – [the] Tomahawk is a vicious weapon.

“It’s a vicious offensive [and] incredibly destructive weapon.

“Nobody wants Tomahawks shot at them.”

How would Russia react?
In the past, Russia has expressed ‘extreme concern’ over the potential of the US providing Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

Former President Dmitry Medvedev responded to the threat on Telegram, stating that it is impossible to tell the difference between a Tomahawk carrying a nuclear warhead and a conventional one, so implied it would have to be treated as the former.

That would be very bad.

Medvedev said: “How should Russia respond? Exactly!”

“One can only hope that this is another empty threat… Like sending nuclear submarines closer to Russia.”
