Melania Trump was urged to leave her husband Donald Trump for two explosive reasons by adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

Daniels, who allegedly had an affair with Trump just a year after he married Melania, encouraged the former model from Slovenia to end their marriage during an interview in June last year.

During Trump’s historic hush money case, Daniels testified about her encounters with the now-President. He has repeatedly denied having any sexual encounters.

Trump was y found him guilty of all 34 charges in a scheme to illegally influence the 2016 election through a hush money payment to the adult star, but did not go to prison as he was sentenced to an unconditional discharge.

“This was a rigged, disgraceful trial,” an angry Trump told reporters after leaving the courtroom. “The real verdict is going to be Nov. 5 by the people. They know what happened, and everyone knows what happened here.”

While other members of the Trump family showed their support during the proceedings, Melania’s absence sparked speculation about the state of their marriage.

“I don’t know what their agreement may or may not be, but Melania needs to leave him. Not because of what he did with me or other women but because he is a convicted felon,” stated Daniels to the Mirror.

Trump and Melania been married since 2005, and shares one son together, Barron Trump, 19.

Trump appeared on national US television to discuss his case, admitting that it has been hard on Melania.

In an interview on Fox and Friends, he claimed to be “fine” but acknowledged, “It’s very hard for her. It’s tougher, I think it’s probably in many ways, it’s tougher on my family than it is on me,” When asked about Melania’s well-being, he responded: “She’s fine, but I think it’s very hard for her. I mean, she’s fine. But it’s, you know, she has to read all this c—.”, reports the Mirror.

When questioned about why she believes Melania – along with Trump’s oldest daughter, Ivanka – never showed up to the proceedings, Stormy suspected it was due to their children.

Daniels explained: “I would not want to expose my children to that dangerous environment. And Melanie and Ivanka are both parents, their mothers who have younger children, and that would be my reason.

“You know, if it was the other way around, even if I wanted to support my spouse or my family member, I would choose the safety and privacy of my child over attending court.”

Trump’s ex-press secretary, Stephanie Grisham, previously revealed how the former Apprentice host would be “absolutely” troubled that his wife and daughter failed to appear at his trial.

“Absolutely, I know it bothers him. That kind of thing would bother him. If Mrs Trump wasn’t at some event and it was really noted, he would definitely bring it up with her. So I’m sure in this context, it’s definitely really bothering him,” she said.

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a former senior advisor to the First Lady, however, believes mother-of-one Melania will not be surprised by Trump’s guilty verdict.

“Melania knew exactly who she married. She knew that this was a transactional marriage,” she said. “She became a top model. He became a loving, doting father, and it set them up for their win for the White House.”

When asked if she is done with the former president, Daniels had a wry smile.

“Are we ever really done with Donald Trump?” she asked. Then, referring to his notorious fake tan, she jests: “He is an orange stain that will be on me for a very long time. It’s like a scarlet letter, but worse.”
