Harrison Butker is Trending During the Chiefs’ White House Visit
Harrison Butker spoke on behalf of the Kansas City Chiefs during his visit to the White House…
Earlier this year, Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker found himself at the center of a national spotlight for comments made during his commencement speech at Benedictine College.
In his controversial speech, Butker criticized President Joe Biden for his handling of several polarizing issues — including abortion and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally,’ Butker said in his speech. “He has been so vocal in his support for the murder of innocent babies that I’m sure to many people, it appears that you can be both Catholic and pro-choice.”
This public criticism of the president led some to wonder if Butker would accompany the Chiefs on this year’s White House visit.
The answer is yes.
Butker traveled to D.C. for the second year in a row to celebrate with his team.
According to Fox News correspondent Lucas Tomlinson, Biden made no reference to Butker’s presence or his commencement speech during Friday’s event.
