Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes is currently one of the best players in the NFL. With three Super Bowl rings under his belt already and a potential fourth one in 2024, Mahomes is on his way to becoming a generational player.

While the Chiefs quarterback continues to reach new heights in his career, he ensures he’s well-connected to his roots.

Mahomes makes sure to give back to his alma mater, the Texas Tech Raiders, in any way he can, be it supporting them from afar or helping them land lucrative deals.

Most recently, the Chiefs quarterback made the headlines over his latest collaboration with the program. The two designed the new uniforms together, which even have Mahomes’ brand logo.

The new uniforms were specially made for the Red Raiders’ matchup against Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes in Week 11.

During a heartwarming segment on ESPN’s “College GameDay,” Mahomes expressed his gratitude and love toward the program that kickstarted his career:

“It just kind of helped me grow up. We had great seasons, we had bad seasons, but through and through, the people were always there. They would push you to be great every day, if that’s on the field or off it, and it helped me become the person I am.”

“Make sure when you come to work every single day, when you step out of this building or step in, you’re all in. And I got a little surprise for y’all to show you how I believe in what y’all are doing here,” Mahomes said to the team before debuting the new uniforms.
