Krzyk Igi Świątek poniósł się po całym korcie. Ten jedyny raz [SKRÓT]

Jessica Pegula popisała się kapitalną grą, dzięki czemu pokonała w ćwierćfinale Igę Świątek 6:2, 6:4 i wyrzuciła naszą tenisistkę za burtę US Open. Polka tylko w drugim secie momentami pokazywała przebłyski swojego geniuszu. Po jednej z akcji aż wrzasnęła na cały stadion, chcąc się nakręcić i spróbować powalczyć o odwrócenie niekorzystnego biegu wydarzeń. Niestety, tym razem rywalka była nie do pokonania.

Amerykanka doskonale weszła w pierwszego seta, zaczynając rywalizację od dwóch przełamań i prowadzenia 4:0. Wówczas było wiadomo, że Polka będzie miała piekielnie ciężką przeprawę. Świątek udało się w tej partii zgarnąć zaledwie dwa gemy, co dało zawodniczce gospodarzy pewne zwycięstwo 6:2.
