Po trzech porażkach w końcu przyszło zwycięstwo. Reprezentacja Polski koszykarzy wygrała w katowickim “Spodku” z Nową Zelandią 88:59. Ponad siedem tysięcy kibiców przyszło zobaczyć w akcji przede wszystkim Jeremy’ego Sochana. A ten udźwignął ciężar. Zagrał dobry mecz, a już po spotkaniu podpisywał autografy, oddał swoją koszulkę fanom. Mieliśmy prawdziwe święto basketu.

Mecz zaczęliśmy naszą najlepszą możliwą piątką: Mateusz Ponitka, Michał Sokołowski, A.J. Slaughter, Aleksander Balcerowski i Jeremy Sochan. Wszystkie oczy zwrócone były oczywiście na tego ostatniego.
