Taylor Swift Transforms a $1,690 Stella McCartney Sweater into a Flirty Minidress to Support Cara Delevingne in London

Taylor Swift’s style never ceases to amaze!

On May 31, the pop star, 34, made a special appearance at the Kit Kat Club at London’s Playhouse Theatre to support her close friend Cara Delevingne backstage at one of her final performances in the musical *Cabaret*. (Swift is currently in Europe for her Eras Tour.)

Just a week later, on June 6, Delevingne shared an Instagram photo capturing the sweet backstage moment, which also showcased Swift’s chic off-duty style. In the sentimental post commemorating her stint as Sally Bowles, which concluded on June 1, Swift can be seen wearing a sky-blue wool crewneck sweater by Stella McCartney.

Originally designed as an oversized pullover, Swift ingeniously styled the piece as a minidress, highlighting the fringe peplum hem. The knitwear, part of Stella McCartney’s autumn 2024 collection, is available on Bergdorf Goodman’s website for $1,690 but is nearly sold out. For those who missed out, Stella McCartney offers a $1,190 gray cropped version of the same style, which is also likely to sell out quickly.

Swift has a history of donning Stella McCartney’s designs (recall the emerald knit dress she wore to Electric Lady Studios in January) and even collaborated with the designer on a Lover-inspired capsule in 2019. It’s no surprise she had another stunning piece from McCartney’s collection in her closet.
