What are Donald Trump’s approval ratings in October 2025? Polling in NJ, across the U.S…In light of all that’s happened in recent weeks, here’s a look at some of the most recent approval ratings for U.S. President Donald Trump…๐
As the nationโs 250th birthday approaches and the celebrations begin, the county has been nothing short of busy.
The Navy and the Marine Corps celebrated their 250th birthday with a week filled with various events, including a ship parade, boat tours and aviation flights. Meanwhile, the government is in the midst of a shutdown that began Oct. 1, a new ceasefire agreement was brokered between Hamas and Israel, and a nor’easter storm hit the East Coast over the weekend, causing damage that now has local government officials and families scrambling to repair.
In light of all that’s happened in recent weeks, here’s a look at some of the most recent approval ratings for U.S. President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump current approval rating in New Jersey: Civiqs
Here is Trump’s approval rating in New Jersey as of Oct. 13, according to data from online survey platform Civiqs.
On job approval:
Approve: 35%.
Disapprove: 62%.
Neither: 4%.
On general opinion:
Favorable: 37%.
Unfavorable: 60%.
Unsure: 3%.

Favorable: 42%.
Unfavorable: 55%.

Donald Trump current national approval rating: Reuters/Ipsos
Here is Trump’s overall approval rating in America as of Oct. 7, according to data from Reuters/Ipsos.
Reuters/Ipsos noted that their polls are conducted online with responses from American adults nationwide. Data dashboards include margins for error.
On job performance:
Approve: 40%.
Disapprove: 58%.

On handling the economy:
Approve: 34%.
Disapprove: 55%.
On immigration policies:
Approve: 41%.

Donald Trump current national approval rating: The Economist
Here is Trump’s approval rating as of Oct. 14, according to data from The Economist:
Approve: 39%.
Disapprove: 56%.
Don’t know: 4%.
The Economist suggests that Trump has a national net approval rating of -16% and a New Jersey net approval rating of -23.8%.

How do Donald Trumpโs current ratings compare to Septemberโs?
While there were slight variations in ratings from last month, overall Trumpโs approvals stayed around the same, with more of the public expressing disapproval of him and his work.
Civiqs showed a slight increase in job disapproval and remained the same for general favorability, both in New Jersey and nationally.
Reuters/Ipsos data revealed a decrease in approval for all three categories.
The Economist said national ratings were the same, but the net approval rating both nationally and in New Jersey increased a bit.
