Triumf Jana Zielińskiego i Su-Wei Hsieh w Wimbledonie zaskoczył chyba nawet samych organizatorów turnieju. Gdy w mediach społecznościowych pojawiła się piłka mistrzowska z finału, kibice szybko dopatrzyli się kuriozalnego błędu. Pomyłka szybko została naprawiona.Zwycięstwo Jana Zielińskiego i Su-Wei Hsieh to drugi wspólny triumf wielkoszlemowy tego duetu w sezonie 2024. Wcześniej, w styczniu, Polak i Tajwanka zwyciężyli w grze mieszanej podczas Australian Open. A jednak to nie wystarczyło, by władze Wimbledonu zapamiętały pisownię nazwiska naszego reprezentanta.Gdy w platformie X/Twitter pojawił się wpis przedstawiający piłkę mistrzowską z finału miksta, nasz tenisista został przedstawiony jako “Jan Zielinsky”. Pomyłka została naprawiona dopiero po kilkudziesięciu minutach.
